Dr. Dre “Remasters” Laptop In New HP Ad
Dr. Dre took time out of his busy schedule of not releasing Detox to shoot a new commercial for the HP Envy laptop that’s branded with the “Beats By Dre” logo.The commercial features the instrumental to that over-hyped and underwhelming collaboration with Jay-Z, “Under Pressure.”
If we’re lucky, the song’s inclusion in this commercial means it’ll meet the same fate that “S**t Popped Off” met after it was included in Dre’s Dr. Pepper ad last year – scrapped from Detox and demoted to being on an Amerie Ameriie album.
