Bobby Brown Is Invited To Whitney Houston's Funeral
After days of speculating whether or not he’d be invited, Bobby Brown has officially been extended an invitation to Whitney Houston’s funeral. According to TMZ, Brown’s ex-wife’s family were strongly opposed to him showing up to the memorial service. Most believe it was Bobby who contributed to Whitney’s downward spiral into drug addiction.
Bobby Brown’s own friends and family were pushing for the R&B star to skip the funeral. However, sentiments changed when Houston’s family had a change of heart. They believe Brown not being allowed to attend would do more harm than good to Bobbi Kristina and the rest of the family. He is scheduled to perform with New Edition hours after the service. Brown will be heading out to his concert directly following Whitney Houston’s funeral on Saturday.
There should’ve never been any question if he would be allowed to attend. He was married to the woman and they have a child together. Sure, they’re relationship was turbulent, but he should be allowed to pay his respects just the same as everyone else who loved her. What do you think of the Houston family’s attempt to bar Bobby Brown from Whitney Houston’s funeral?
