Common Eyes Jay-Z Collaboration
Common Wants To Work With Jay-Z
When Common’s last album, The Dreamer/The Believer, dropped, hip-hop heads were hyped for his collaboration with Nas. Now that the Chicago MC has scratched a Nas collabo off his bucket list, he has his sights set on working with Jay-Z. Common gave an interview to liqueur brand X Rated where talked about not having made it into the studio with Jay, but the two have hung out at Nas’ 38th birthday party.
“The emcee that I would like to work with that I haven’t worked with, I would say it would be Jay-Z, definitely,” he offered. “Jay is probably one of the people that I would like to work with most out of the Hip Hop era of music.”
