Fans of Whitney Houston are trying their best to make sure the legacy of the singer will forever live on in all aspects of the entertainment business. Due to the fact Houston’s rendition of the National Anthem at Super Bowl 1991 is the most recognizable, there is a petition circulating the internet to have a Whitney Houston at the next Super Bowl in 2013. The official campaign is being sponsored by the Whitney Houston Fan Community.

Whitney Houston Fan Community’s official page reads:

The reason why we should come together to sign this petition is to honor her legacy and show the world why her voice is the standard above all; and what better way to do this by resurfacing her Symbolic rendition of the National Anthem at next years Superbowl amongst hundreds of millions of viewers from around the world.

The campaign seems to be gaining momentum. After only being announced very recently, the petition has 103 signatures as of now. Oprah’s interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is sure to drive those signatures through the roof. What are your thoughts on the campaign?
