Target Snatches Offensive Whitney Houston Greeting Cards Out Of Stores!
The pain related to the death of pop star Whitney Houston is still very raw. So much so that department store chain Target has decided to pull greeting cards that mock the late legend’s turbulent marriage and life.
It must be noted the card was available for sale long before Whitney Houston died. The card tries to make light of the fact Whitney Houston’s life seemingly spiraled out of control when she began seeing Bobby Brown. Since Houston’s passing, Target has deemed the card too offensive and began removing the item from stores once complaints came flooding in.
It’s cool they’re removing the card because of Whitney Houston’s passing, but why was this type of card approved for sale when she was still alive? What are your thoughts on the card?
