By now, we’ve all heard about the tantrum Kanye West threw on Twitter after taping an interview with Matt Lauer for NBC’s Today show.

Kanye felt manipulated by Lauer into answering questions he didn’t want to talk about concerning his thoughts on his infamous “George Bush Doesn’t Care About Black People” rant from 2005.

The interview aired this morning, and after watching it, we really don’t feel like Lauer did anything other than make Kanye come close to giving a truly honest, human answer to a mildly tough but completely fair question.

As far as the theatrics of having Kanye watch Bush’s face, Kanye should know a little bit about theatrics and how to play it up.  His whole career has been one overly dramatic moment after another, from his near fatal car crash that he turned into the hit single “Through The Wire” to the Runaway film.
