Denzel Is ‘Unstoppable’

Denzel Washington [click to read] is reportedly in negotiations to star in “Unstoppable,” a Tony Scott-directed thriller for 20th Century Fox.

If he signs on, the movie would mark his fifth directed by Scott, following “Crimson Tide,” “Man on Fire,” “Déjà vu” and the just-completed train-based thriller, “The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3,” due from Columbia Pictures on June 12.

In “Unstoppable,” another train-based thriller, Washington [click here to read] would play an experienced engineer who jumps in a locomotive with a young conductor to chase down a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals.
