Jamie Foxx Believes He’d K.O. Tyson Role

Perhaps inspired by the new documentary “Tyson,” Jamie Foxx says now, more than ever, he wants to bring a theatrical version of boxer Mike Tyson’s life story to the big screen [click here to read].
“I think I would have to play Mike Tyson. I’ve talked to Mike several times and his story is the most tragic American story,” Foxx told WENN [click here to read].
“Mike’s story is about what America and the world is about today,” he added. “Coming up at 18 years old and getting his $60 million and not teaching him what taxes are about, about vultures, about people who will never be real with you as long as you have the money.”
And Foxx reveals he’s already set the wheels in motion to make his dream become a reality: “I’m working on securing the rights to the movie.”
