Ne-Yo Talks About Starring In His First Movie, “Battle: Los Angeles”
The film Battle: Los Angeles cleaned up at the box office this weekend, raking in a cool $36 million, enough to be the #1 movie of the week. The alien invasion film features Ne-Yo in his first film role as Cpl Kevin Harris.

Ne-Yo spoke with the Associated Press about his film debut and the amount of physical training he underwent to play the role of a military man.
“It was some of the most difficult stuff I’ve ever been through in my life,” Ne-Yo, who did his own stunts in the film, says. “They put us through boot camp with real live marines to make sure we actually looked and acted the part.”
