“Move Over Wyclef”, Caktuz Goes Acoustic on “Blackbyrdz” ft Mr Rucker

Caktuz releases this new “accoustik street mix” of his cult classic Blackbyrdz for #OverTheWallWeds. Originally written and produced by Caktuz for his debut album, 2 Hevi 4 Heaven [itunes].

The song was reissued on Cak..?13’z sophomore disc, the controversial GOD*Z PORNO, due to overwhelming fan support for the song. A self taught hip hop guitarist (a rare known fact about the eclectic North Carolina rapper), Caktuz wrote the song while on an 8yr. prison stint for a crime he did not commit. Blackbyrdz also features the soul stirring vocals of North Carolina’s Mr Rucker.

This version smashes the original studio version and the all acoustic versions together for fans who have loved both of these records individually. A video is said to be currently in the works.
