While today Chris Brown’s focus is on his preliminary hearing set to take place this afternoon (where his alleged victim Rihanna is expected to testify), the singer has got his temporarily derailed career on deck as priority one.
Last week singer/songwriter Keri Hilson divulged that she and Brown are headed back into the studio to collab on a song for his upcoming album Graffiti. While Hilson dueted on Brown’s ‘Superhuman’, this time around she’s on board as merely a scribe. ”He contacted me like four or five days ago…us working together will probably be the first project I’ve worked on as a songwriter in a while,” Hilson said at a promo appearance in LA.
But in Keri’s eyes, Brown’s legal problem will be easily solved with on hit record.

It is unfortunate what they are going through, but I always feel like if you’ve ever had a fan base, you’re really only one song away from appeasing that fan base,” Hilson said. ”Whether that song is autobiographical or whether you want to talk about that or not, you’re just one hit song away. And that’s what I think of the industry in a nutshell.”
