VIA DX:

Producers Play-N-Skillz have revealed that rapper Bun B is hoping to recruit the likes of Drake and Jamie Foxx for a single on his new album.

And according to the producing duo, if the song is created it will be the first single off of Bun B’s album.

It’s going to be the official single off of Bun B’s new album,” Play, one half of Play-N-Skillz told XXL. “Drake and Jamie Foxx were supposed to be on the song. We didn’t actually do a session, it was just talked about and [Bun’s people] were gonna go through with it. Drake’s schedule just got crazy—his buzz just exploded—so I don’t know where we are with all that.”

Consisting of two producers, Play-N-Skillz have steadily climbed to fame with their recent production for Lil Wayne’s “Got Money”, Hurricane Chris’ “Halle Berry”, and more.

Drake has worked with both Jamie Foxx and Bun B in the past. Bun B was even featured on “Uptown” a song from Drake’s highly successful So Far Gone mixtape.

There is no word yet on when Bun B’s album will be released.
