Everybody picks on poor Vanilla Ice, Skee-Lo & Ahmad but what about the new One-hit Wonders? Since 2000 quite a few songs have had us losing our minds at the club and downloading ringtones in bunches. But just like a 401K they disappear. Many of them do try to make lightning strike twice with a follow-up project but the sparks just aren’t there. Then it’s off to reality TV.
Maybe in a few years they’ll prove us wrong but as of right now, these are the new One-Hit Wonders.
