El DeBarge To Collaborate With 50 Cent, Fabolous & Faith Evans On New Album
It’s been a hard road for El DeBarge over the last 22 years, fighting drug addiction and spending time in prison. Now after a triumphant performance at this year’s BET Awards, El is preparing the release of a new album, Second Chance, through Interscope on September 28th.
Vibe.com had a chance to ask El about his new album and the “I Like It” singer revealed that he’s working with Faith Evans, 50 Cent, Fabolous as well as producers Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, The Avila Brothers, and Mike City on the project.
It’s not the first time El has worked with rappers. In the late 90’s, El provided vocals for several tracks on DJ Quik’s Rhythm-A-Lism album.
