Missy Elliott's Next Album May Be Her Last Says Da Brat
Da Brat Says Missy’s Next Album May Be Her Last
Da Brat has bad news for fans of Missy Elliott. Elliott’s long awaited seventh album may be her final album.
“I was hoping for a ‘Ladies Night’ reunion,” Da Brat told Sister2Sister, referring to Lil’ Kim’s 1997 single which featured Da Brat, Missy Elliott, Angie Martinez, and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. “I spoke to Missy and she down for it. She want to do a song because she said this could possibly be her last album.”
Missy Elliott hasn’t released a full length album since 2005’s The Cookbook. Her last official single release was 2008’s “Ching-A-Ling” from the soundtrack to the film Step Up 2 The Streets.
