Drake Steps In For Bar Mitzvah Performance After Kanye's $1 Million Demands Rejected
Former NBC head honcho Jeff Zucker’s son Andrew celebrated his 13th birthday at his bar mitzvah in New York City. Kanye West was initially asked to perform at the event, but West’s demand for $1 million was rejected.
The Zuckers opted for the more recession friendly Drake.
Drake’s paycheck wasn’t revealed at press time, but the New York Post says that no other expense was spared for the bar mitzvah, which took place Saturday night at the swanky Four Seasons in New York City.
The Post says that Andrew Zucker and his friends ate sushi, smoked salmon, macaroni and cheese and a raw bar in the restaurant’s Grill Room, which is usually reserved for the mega-important biz folks.
