Eminem’s “Recovery” Sells Over 750,000 Copies In First Week!
Eminem’s latest album, Recovery, had an amazing first week of sales.
According to industry rag, Hits Daily Double, which compiles a preliminary sales chart the day before the official SoundScan numbers are released on Wednesdays, Recovery sold 753,870 copies in its first week of release.
A very impressive showing during a period of overall low album sales!
The Roots’ 9th studio album, How I Got Over, pulled in an impressive 49,320 in sales since it went on sale the same day as Recovery, landing at number 6.
In his second week, Drake’s Thank Me Later, experienced a (normal) 66% dip in sales, but still lands in the number 2 spot with 156,451 copies sold.
