Nas & Pete Rock Working Together On “Lost Tapes Vol. 2”
Legendary hip-hop producer Pete Rock confirmed via Twitter that he and Nas have reunited on a song from Nas’ forthcoming The Lost Tapes Vol. 2 album.
Nas & Pete Rock last worked together on Nas’ debut album, Illmatic, in 1994 on the song “The World Is Yours.” Fans have long been clamoring for a reunion between the two.
Pete’s math may be a little faulty, but his production is always on point. We’re looking forward to hearing what the two have in store!
The Lost Tapes Vol 2 will consist of previously unreleased material recorded by Nas since the release of Stillmatic in 2001.
