Jay-Z‘s recent visit to the University of Kentucky Wildcats’ locker room after the team won a spot in the Final Four is costing the part owner of the New Jersey Nets and the team’s organization $50,000 sources say.

Word circulated around the league Friday that an unnamed team — which sources confirmed to ESPN.com is the Nets — was fined for violating league rules that prohibit contact with players who still have collegiate basketball eligibility remaining.
