Oprah To Interview McCann Family
The parents of missing British girl Madeleine McCann will tape an interview with the “Oprah Winfrey Show” tomorrow for an episode scheduled to air on May 4 [click here to read].
Kate and Gerry McCann left London for the United States on Wednesday, reports the Associated Press. Their daughter Madeline vanished in May 2007 from a resort in southern Portugal.
The McCanns will first visit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Alexandria, Virginia. They will then fly to Chicago for the “Oprah” interview [click here to read].
Age-progression images showing Madeleine as she might look now will be aired during the broadcast. Family spokesman Clarence Mitchell says the McCanns agreed to speak with Winfrey because of the global reach of her show. It is aired in 144 countries.
