Man With 30 Children Begs Court For Help With Child Support Payments [VIDEO]
It’s hard to fight a stereotype, when people work so hard to live up to them. Meet Desmond Hatchett, a 33 year old man from Knoxville, TN who’s fathered 30 children with 11 women. Not surprisingly, Hatchett is unable to live up to his child support payments on his minimum wage salary, and is now asking the court to give him a break on making his payments.
Melissa Gibson, an assistant supervisor at the Knox County child support clerk’s office confirms, “We’ve got several cases with Mr. Hatchett.”
Some of the mothers involved, have received child support checks as low as $1.49.
Hatchett explained how he was able to produce so many children: “I had four kids in the same year. Twice.”
