It was Spike Lee‘s first feature film, and now he is adapting it for the small screen. “She’s Gotta Have It” is in development for a half-hour series for Showtime, according to Deadline.
The film follows female protagonist, Nola Darling, while she chooses between three of her lovers. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in a series. The original movie only took $175,000 to make over 12 days, and it’s been chronicled as the start of the indie-film movement.
We can’t wait to see how this one turns out!
