There’s no other way to put it: this NBA season, Stephen “Chef” Curry’s game has been on another level from anyone else’s in the NBA, or anywhere else for that matter. And tonight, Yahoo Sports confirmed that Curry will be named the NBA’s MVP for the 2014-2015 season.

Night after night, Curry puts together highlight reel plays that people have to watch multiple times just to believe what they’ve just seen. Many longtime basketball fans are putting Curry’s jump shot alongside other legendary jump shooters such as Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen….and a few have even said that they believe it may be the best of all time in the NBA. Curry usually sets up his defender by freezing him with his Grade A handles before displaying his lighting quick release with accuracy. Earlier this year, a story came from the Warriors practice claiming that Steph hit 77 straight NBA threes in practice….read that line again. Curry’s new trademark is letting his shot fly and run down the court without watching it go in. In addition, Stef captured the 2015 NBA All Star Weekend Three Point Championship while beating out his own Warriors teammate Klay Thompson and fellow All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Curry’s team, the Golden State Warriors, had the best record in the NBA this year with Steph averaging: 23.7 points per game, 7.7 assists per game while shooting 44% from the three point line and has made an amazing 286 three pointers this year. The Warriors have had an historic year, and the biggest reason has been the emergence of its best player, Steph Curry.
