Negroes will find the most mundane shLt to beef about. I wasn’t aware that you can patent a name? What about the millions of other Rick Ross’ out there in the world, can they sue too? This is silly. Trademark infringement is usually associated with a brand that people identify with other established companies. I wonder if a drug dealer took the name Rick Ross and made millions, would this guy sue him too? Yet I would think, he had more of a right, since it was in the same “line of work.” Rick, you have done enough damage to the black community, stop wasting the courts time with frivolous lawsuits.

So obviously if I became a rapper and decided to call myself Jay Z or Diddy, or Big Daddy Kane, or Lil Wayne, etc. there would be some legal entanglement, but Rick Ross chose a name in a profession that this Rick Ross is not involved in at all. Plus the so called original Rick Ross, doesn’t make money FROM HIS NAME. I imagine there are millions of Rick Ross’ out there, in various professions, can they all come sue Miami Rick Ross too?
