Jay-Z paid a visit to the University of Kentucky’s locker room after their Wildcats won against the University of North Carolina Tarheels 76-69, earning them a place in the NCAA Final Four.

Wildcats forward Darius Miller spoke on Jay-Z’s visit to reporters. “That in itself was a pretty nice experience to add on to (the Final Four),” Miller said. “Going to the Final Four (is bigger) by far. But still, Jay-Z. It’s crazy. This whole day has been crazy. I’m still taking it all in.”

Jay-Z was waiting in the hallway outside the locker room as the team returned after the game and caught the team off guard.

“I said, ‘Oh that’s Jay-Z!'” forward Terrence Jones said. “We all gave him a handshake and he came in the locker room, and we just kept screaming ‘Jay-Z in the locker room!’ He congratulated us, just said he was proud of us.”
