Grooming Guide: Trimming Nose Hairs
Nose hairs are the deal breaker of any men’s grooming regimen. Women will be forgiving of a lot of things, but looking like you breathe fur is a sure fire turn off. Lucky for you it’s not that hard to keep your beak foliage in check. Here are some quick tips for trimming .
1) Wash the inside of your nose with a wash cloth or moist cotton swab using a soap like Gillette’s Sensitive Face Wash.
2) Use small scissors with rounded tips or an electric nose hair trimmer to trim excess hair. Some men like to plug hairs with tweezers but pulling hair from the root in your nasal cavity can lead to infection. Do not push the scissors or the trimmer too far into your nose.
3) Only trim what you can see. No one is looking all the way up into your nostrils so neither should you. A frontal lobotomy before a date is not a good idea since you’ll need all of your available personality to make a good first impression.
4) You may feel the urge to sneeze. If so, stop cutting, take the trimmer and scissors out of your nose and let it fly. There are no extra points for multitasking.
5) A quick wipe with some tissue or blowing your nose should make sure there are no loose hairs waiting to fall out into your dinner.
