Queensbridge rapper Nas can’t win for losing. We reported a few weeks ago Nas owed the government a whopping six million dollars. Well, the IRS knows how the “One Mic” rapper gets down with not paying bills because they are garnishing his wages to recoup their money. The government has filed papers in the state of Georgia to have any earnings from his music to be garnished through music publishing organizations like BMI and ASCAP. The arrangement proposed by the government would end once Nas’ bill is paid off, which could be 10-20 years from now depending on how frequently Nas puts out music that sells.
