Former professional football star Terrell Owens will finally get his chance to reenter the NFL. After initially denying reports, it has been confirmed Owens will get to tryout with the Seattle Seahawks.

Owens hasn’t played in the NFL since 2010 due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament. T.O. says he is fully recovered from the injury and ready to earn a spot back in the league. Generally, the football league has shown little to no interest in picking Owens up. However, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and the Seahawks, as a whole, wanted to give Terrell Owens a shot at redemption.

After Owens stopped playing in the NFL, he became a reality star and played in an Indoor Football League for the Allen Wranglers. Owens was dropped from the team nearly four months after joining because he missed an important team appearance. However, if you ask Owens why he isn’t playing in the Indoor Football League, he’ll will tell you he lost interest in the IFL and became bored with it.
