In what may be Hollywood’s most drawn-out casting process, director Clint Eastwood might have finally found the male lead to start opposite Beyonce in “A Star Is Born.” According to Shadow And Act, actor Bradley Cooper “(Limitless, Hangover 2) is in talks to star in the musical remake.

The project has been in the works since 2010, and while Warner Bros. has courted the likes of A-listers like Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Cruise, they’ve been hard pressed to find an actor to commit. Which is rather strange, considering most actors wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to work with a director of Clint Eastwood’s caliber.
Could it be they just don’t want to share screen time with Queen Bey?
