Michael K. Williams Gives Scoop On Spike Lee’s Kickstarter Project [EXCLUSIVE]
Michael K. Williams is having a very good year. Williams returns for a fourth season as gangster Chalky White on HBO’s critically acclaimed “Boardwalk Empire,” is featured in the upcoming “Twelve Years A Slave” and has recently joined Spike Lee’s top secret Kickstarter funded project. Spike raised more that $1.4 million through online crowd funding, but has kept almost mum on what the movie will be about. On his Kickstarter page, Spike hinted: ” I’m doing a semi-genre film about ADDICTION. These people are ADDICTED to BLOOD. Yet however they are not VAMPIRES. It’s going to be SEXY, HUMOROUS and BLOODY. To me that’s a unique combination.”
