Ricky Martin Splits With Longtime Partner Carlos Gonzalez
A rep for singer Ricky Martin has confirmed that he and his partner Carlos Gonzalez have split, according to PEOPLE.
“Ricky and Carlos have mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be united by friendship and their shared experiences,” the rep said in a statement.
Martin has spoken very highly of Gonzalez in the past, telling Vanity Fair in an interview last year that his partner was supportive in all aspects of his life – including raising Martin’s twin sons, Matteo and Valentino.
The couple had been dating for four years at the time of the Vanity Fair interview. An unnamed source told people that the two had been experiencing problems for some time before the split.
