Extraordinarily talented Dreamville/Roc Nation artist J.Cole is truly in a league of his own and he proved as much yet again by keeping a promise to a young fan and attending her high school graduation in the midst of a hectic tour schedule.

To give a brief recap of the backstory, a New Jersey high school student by the name of Cierra wrote J.Cole a letter back in 2013 telling him how he inspired her to push through her academic hardships and asked him to attend her future high school graduation. To her surprise, Cole responded to her letter and promised that he would attend her graduation under one condition: she had to get accepted into a 4-year university by the time she was to graduate.

Cierra kept in contact with Cole and the entire Dreamville team over the course of the next 2 years, keeping them updated on her progress in school and eventually sharing the great news of her being accepted into multiple 4-year universities.

Fast forward to June 23rd, 2015 and not only did Cole hold up his end of the deal by attending Cierra’s graduation, he also worked with his manager to route his third annual Dollar And A Dream tour around her graduation ceremony to do it.

Cierra posted photos of the priceless moment on social media and also shared details on the graduation gift she received from Cole, as well as his plans to help fund her college education.

Amazing, right?
