Woman Addicted To Eating Sand And Nail Files [VIDEO]

TLC’s show “My Strange Addiction” has brought some really odd habits to light. There are people that enjoy coffee enemas (when a good ole mug of Starbucks just won’t cut it) or eating the hair of a cat (tell PETA her snacks are dragging on the floor).

In the upcoming episode a young woman named Brea is addicted to eating sand. The 19-year-old craves a crunch that a bag of chips just can’t deliver.

“My favorite sand is the sand from the playground…it’s natural, straight from the Earth and it’s good and crunchy.”

When Brea can’t get her special brand of schoolyard confection, she nibbles on nail files because they give her the same crunch.
