It looks like there is a mysterious Pepsi machine in a Trinidad apartment building that provides people with the finest cans of malt liquor the land can drink, and the authorities aren’t happy about it.

According to the DCist, Danielle Bays from the Trinidad Neighborhood Association said that the machine is no longer in use, but no one is saying who did it.

“The Pepsi machine was in front of a 4-unit apartment and of course no one claimed responsibility for it. It charged $3 for the malt liquor so kids were buying it (cheaper for adults to get at the store). MPD disabled it and were waiting for the property owner to have it removed,” said Bays.

When I first heard about the story, I’m not going to lie, I thought it was funny. I mean, a soda machine that passes out Olde English is (or whatever the Trinidadian equivalent is) an odd thought. Someone must have thought they hit the liquor lottery for a quick moment. But realizing that kids have such easy access to liquor disguised as soda is definitely harmful.

What do you guys think of the Pepsi Machine?
