The casting news for VH1’s TLC biopic keeps rolling in. It was recently announced actress Rochelle Aytes will star in “Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story.” You may remember Rochelle Aytes from her role in “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion.” She will also be in the upcoming ABC primetime soap “Mistresses.”

The film will explore the lives and relationships, and their rise to fame. Perri “Pebbles” Reid was the group’s manager when  they first got signed. Aytes will have to tap into her inner mean girl because it’s said Pebbles will be characterized as an unrelenting slave driver with a visible jealousy of Chilli because of her relationship with music producer Dallas Austin.

Rochelle Aytes joins the cast of new and seasoned talent. While KeKe Palmer holds down the role of Chilli, Lil Mama and Drew Sidora have the parts of RT-Boz and Left Eye respectively. Son of Diana Ross, Evan will star as Chilli’s former lover and father of her son Dallas Austin in the film. The crew behind the scenes are well respected in the game as well. “Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story” will be written by Kate Lanier who penned the script for “What’s Love Got To Do With It.” Charles Stone III, the director of “Drumline,” will helm this project as well.
