Wow! Just when you thought Donald Sterling‘s alleged racist comments couldn’t be any worse….he ups and tops himself! There is allegedly more audio about to drop that is going to touch the LA Clippers as a team in a way that they only thought they had been touched yesterday! According to TMZ, in the new audio, Sterling discusses his team….and what he allegedly said, sounds like something straight out of the script of “Twelve Years A Slave!”
Now as we previously reported, the sports world is losing it’s collective shizz right now because LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling was reportedly caught on tape saying some very disparaging comments about black people to his young half black/half mexican girlfriend V. Stiviano.
In the audio Sterling is allegedly telling Stiviano not to bring black people to his games. He mentions Magic Johnson specifically. He is also alleged to have told her not to post pics with black people on her Instagram account!
Well, TMZ released the audio and everyone went crazy upon hearing it. Sterling gave a statement that didn’t quite cut it yesterday. (Click the link above to check out what Sterling had to say and the reaction from everyone about the audio!)
And today we’re afraid that Donald Sterling is going to have even more explaining to do as more audio has been released and it’s even worse than the last one! . You can hear the Clippers’ owner explaining that doesn’t think he’s racist because he puts food on the tables of his his black employees.
Check out the conversation below!
Stiviano: “I don’t understand, I don’t see your views. I wasn’t raised the way you were raised.”
Sterling: “Well then, if you don’t feel — don’t come to my games. Don’t bring black people, and don’t come.”
Stiviano: “Do you know that you have a whole team that’s black, that plays for you?”
Sterling: “You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them? Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?”
Sterling also objects when Stiviano compares his attitude toward black people to the Holocaust.
During the conversation, Stiviano says she didn’t remove a photo of L.A. Dodgers star Matt Kemp from her Instagram page because he’s mixed race and light-skinned and she thought Sterling would be OK with it.
She was wrong.
Sterling also threatens to replace Stiviano with another girl in his life for not getting behind his world views on race.
Call it a hunch but we have a feeling this story is going to get even worse before it’s all said and done.
