The Giants managed to allow 52 points against the Saints last Sunday. So yeah, they could use a little help on the defensive end. Today, that comes in the form of Jason Pierre-Paul.
Yes, JPP is back. After losing an appendage in a July 4th fireworks accident, Pierre-Paul is set to make his season debut against the Buccaneers. The defensive end officially re-signed with the Giants on Oct. 27.
Although contractual factors complicated Pierre-Paul’s return, the biggest question was if he was going to be ready. Head coach Tom Coughlin has said that, “JPP is in outstanding physical condition so we feel good about accelerating him along.” Pierre-Paul is good enough shape that the Giants are actually planning on starting him.
#Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul will be monitored, but he’s not only going to play today, the plan is to have him start. Incredible comeback

The Bucs are a pretty good place to start. The team has a rookie quarterback under center and aren’t that great at 3-4. New York should win, but the story is obviously JPP.
