You would think Azealia Banks should be using this precious time to promote her recent Slay-Z mixtape. Instead, the Harlem rapper took the time to deliver yet another Twitter rant, this time accusing Beyoncé of exploiting black women’s suffering on her Lemonade project, and that she’s only shining a light on this “national conversation” because the topic is trendy.

In response to a tweet by writer Ta-Nehisi Coates, Banks said, “She’s not an artist, she’s a poacher,” she wrote. “She takes food out of darker skinned women’s mouths and pretends to be inspired.” She even went on to say that Beyoncé has a history of straying from political statements in her music for fear of alienating her white fan base. “You forgot that Beyoncé is America’s way of having a Black woman without having to DEAL with a black woman.”
