Kanye West's Poem About McDonald's French Fries, McDonald's Responds
Kanye West Pens Excellent Poem About McDonald’s French Fries, McDonald’s Responds
Kanye West can’t wrap his mind around the wonder that is the McDonald’s french fry. So, he hit up Frank Ocean‘s Boys Don’t Cry magazine with a poem called “The McDonald’s Man. ” Makes total sense to us.
“McDonald’s Man/ McDonalds Man / The french fries had a plan,” West begins before bringing the rest of the fast food company’s menu into it. “The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band to overthrow the french fries’ plan / I always knew them french fries was evil man / smelling all good and shit” he wrote in a few bars that really make his gift for rhyming clear.
Of course, McDonald’s is lovin’ it. In their official response, the company threw a little shade at one part of ‘Ye’s piece. Towards the end, the rapper said the McRib was “artificial meat,” but McDonald’s set the record straight.
