With the week coming to a close, it’s time for us to pick our favorite things this week.   Some of us picked music, some tv shows, some of us chose something… well… something else.

The “Mixtape Marvel” from CT jacks Red Café’s “I’m Ill” beat (produced by

Boi-1da) and elevates it to legendary status with the inclusion of four

fallen hip-hop greats: Guru, The Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun and Big L. Salute.

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched the late 80’s “The Cosby Show” spin off, “A Different World.”  I picked up the first season on DVD this past weekend for the wallet friendly price of $9.99 and forgot how much I loved the show.  Over the course of the last week, I’ve become reacquainted with the students of Hillman College and wish they would finally release the rest of the series on DVD!

I have to admit this is probably the most ghetto ish I have ever seen – a chicken and beer eating contest!  This video gave me a much needed laugh this week. Hmm, I could go for some chicken now!

What were you feeling this week?  Leave us a comment!
