50 Cent dissed FOX’s show Empire again, but that’s nothing new. The G-Unit frontman — and executive producer of STARZ’rival show, Power — has been throwing jabs at the series for a few months now. In a recent interview with MTV, 50 likened the show to the musical comedy-drama Glee.

“It’s like Glee,” 50 says. “It’s like Glee with a little hip-hop music in it.”

“I feel like the story line is moving extremely fast,” 50 continues. “My character Kanan didn’t show up till episode four in Power because I was in jail for a long period of time. Taraji [P. Henson] came home on the first episode after 17 years… It’s like, ‘Damn, what happened? What happened to the rest of the story?’ I don’t know what’s going on, it started moving real fast [laughs].”

Back in late December, he slammed Empire, claiming that the show imitated Power’s marketing plan.

Power Season 2 is unbelievably good, trust me,” 50 said. “I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson. I don’t like that they would copy the marketing.”

Prior to these comments, 50 posted a since-deleted split screen Instagram photo of both Power star Omari Hardwick and Howard with the caption:

“Empire VS. Power LADIES what’s up you be the judge. LMAO #SMSAUDIO #FRIGO #POWERTV.”

Soon after, Taraji shot back at Fif via Twitter, saying: “I pay attention to $’s NOT cents.”
