I agree with Ginuwine 1000%. I cannot deal with a disrespectful kid. He needs to write a book. These are some of the most disrespectful, ungrateful kids that I have ever seen. I don’t blame them though, I blame the parents. The kids don’t come here knowing, they have to be taught.

I have to say that after watching the clip of Ginuwine, I have to say that I agree with what he said, we need to take our kids back to the old school where if you are told to do something then it better get done no questions asked. Too many children these days are talking to their parents and treating their parents like they have lost their minds!!! I grew up as a foster child, and sometimes I feel a little envious of children that have GREAT parents that have taught them how to respect others and to respect themselves. I had my foster mother to teach me that, but it just doesn’t feel the same as having your biological parents do it!!!

Most parents today fear their kids when it should be the other way around. My dad put fear in me and my siblings but not to the point that we grew up like nervous wrecks or doormats. He always been there for us when we needed him god rest his soul.

If you cannot spell or speak correctly, what kind of tutor are you to your children. Remember, Home is the First School. My sons never address me with “uh-huh’ or ‘yea’ due to the fact, those are not words and I am not a friend in the street. This is a small factor leading to the bigger picture, so when they become young men in this world, they will never associate and alias to themselves as ‘boy’. Do some math, get a hobby other than cussing over some digital sounds, and respect the women of all races, and seek wisdom.

I agree with this advice from Ginuwine. Parents need to be parents and not their kids friends. I especially agree with the part about others correcting your kid. Many parents today take that personally and get upset with the other individual. Unless they are just plain going overboard, you should be glad. It shows your child that they are accountable even when your not around and it creates an environment of accountability for them. If you respond negatively then they know that they can get away with bad behavior when away from home. We as a people need to stop texting so much period, because it does cause us to lose touch somewhat. Moderation is the key. Face to face can never be replaced.
