Beyonce Knowles has laid down vocals as the lead singer in a girl group on Nickelodeon’s hit kid’s show Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! The singer is lending her famous voice to the Nick animated series as Shine, the lead singer of the The Wubb Girls, in four episodes beginning April 27.
Beyonce tells USA Today, “I told my nephew I was being considered for the role, and he didn’t believe me. The episodes haven’t aired on TV, so he still doesn’t believe me. He’s like, ‘Yeah, right, Auntie BB, you don’t know Wubbzy!’”
