He has been making headlines for his ongoing beef with Hot 97 host Funkmaster Flex and a recent discrepancy with Busta Rhymes. Today, he is in the news for being attacked while walking into the Power 105.1 station.

Video of the physical altercation surfaced on WorldStarHipHop, showingCharlamagne being hit in the head by an unknown assailant after refusing to give the guy a “drop” for their DVD.
The cameraman catches Charlamagne running away from the scene after being assaulted then being chased by four other men. Charlamagne paused for a moment, where he looks like he was deciding if he should fight or run.
