Virginia rapper/producer Missy Elliott is bringing that back with two of her brand new singles off her upcoming album “Block Party.” Along with Timbaland, Missy unveiled her singles “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat.” Both records feature production from Timbaland and Missy’s signature left-of-center delivery.

Missy explained her hiatus from recording her own material during a Ustream. She told fans, “We’re basically coming to switch music again. People wonder what took us so long and I feel like we needed to refresh our brains and either come correct or don’t come at all.”
