Jay-Z said it best this morning, “Y’all gon learn today!” only it wasn’t the entertainment-hungry public learning a lesson, it was Rick Ross. After catching serious heat from all sides about rapping about rape on a song called “U.O.E.N.O.,” Rick Ross has been dropped by Reebok as their partner.

In a statement issued earlier today, Reebok stated, “Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand.  Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.” They went on to say, “While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”

Well, I’m not surprised by Reebok’s actions because how long did Rick Ross think he was going to be able to walk the streets without somebody saying something to him about it. as much as Reebok needs to regain its street credibility, they certainly know they won’t get any credibility dealing with a man who talks about raping women. but really though, somebody go check on Rick Ross. He might be drowning his sorrows in a bucket of KFC chicken and you know his high blood pressure and cholesterol can’t handle all that damn salt!
