We never thought the day would come that Kim Kardashian didn’t want cameras following her every move. But that day has arrived. We’re sure the nesting period has kicked in for her and during that time pregnant women are often very protective of their babies and their personal space. But we think Kim may have finally had enough of the attention.
Kim took to her Twitter account a few days ago to beg for everyone to just back off and give her some space.
Tweeted Kim:
“I wouldn’t let the paps get a pic of me today & they threatened my life & said if I continue to block shots then they will make my world dangerous to live in! How dare they threaten my life & my unborn child! This has gotten way out of control!”
According to Radar Online, Tuesday, Kim claimed four photogs boxed her in while she was driving just to get a shot of her.
Said Kim:
“One in front, behind & one on each side just to have me drive at their speed so they can snap through the window, it’s really so scary what they are legally allowed to get away with! For years, I’ve always been so gracious. Every shot they take now just isn’t flattering & crazy stories get made up, so why would I willingly just let them stalk me & smile for them?”
Kim ended her plea by saying:
“Let me enjoy this last month of pregnancy please without threats & being scared to leave my home due to what dangerous thing they just threatened to do to me. I get I live a public life. I live my life on a reality show for the world to see. I love my life, but when the cameras stop, that doesn’t mean I don’t want a break too. I’m 32 years old now, about to be a mom. I’m not 25 clubbing around LA anymore. There’s no excuse for threats & stalking!”
Now we know she brought much of this on herself but she is right. She has been forced to tolerate some cruel, frustrating and hurtful comments and actions throughout her pregnancy. Pregnant women are supposed to be taken care of and catered to. They deserve to be at peace and to feel reassured. And it doesn’t seem as though Kim got that.
It’s not just about her, it’s about that innocent baby that she is carrying. If her pregnancy is stressful, then the baby is stressed out to. That baby didn’t ask for any of this. It’s only right that people respect her wishes. The question now becomes. will they?
