2014 brought us some amazing titles to keep us entertained and help quell the rumors of the imminent demise of the console games, if only for a little while. With the announcement of and some delays added in, 2015 looks to be another stellar year for consoles. Here are some of the ones we are waiting to pick up.

PC Xbox One, PS4

Since its announcement, Turtle Rock / 2K’s Evolve has been on practically everyone’s lips. The game has you taking your place amongst a team of hunters on a futuristic safari tracking down some pretty dangerous game. Or you can turn the tables and the hunter can become the hunted at the click of a button. Add in some pretty amazing effects and it looks to be one of the most intense games of the year.

Battlefield Hardline

PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3

Battlefield Hardline was originally supposed to be under our Christmas our this year but has been pushed back into later 2015. Hardline takes the same great game play and intensity that made it such a great shooter but leaves the warzone and takes the battle to the city streets as you play either a police officer or a criminal.

Dying Light

PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3

Ever had that debate about which zombies are scarier, the slow movers like in the Walking Dead or the fast movers like World War Z? Well in Dying Light, you get to face both, you lucky person you. Dying light is a pretty original take on the standard zombie fighting game from the people that gave us Dead Island 2. In it you are in a world overrun by zombies, during the day they are pretty the lethargic ones we are used to seeing but at night, they go full tilt and the best way to avoid becoming zombie chow is run. Good thing you have some parkour skills in the game. Think Assassins Creed: Resident Evil…

The Witcher 3

PC, Xbox One, PS4

The third and final chapter in the story of the Witcher Geralt Rivia, according to CD PROJECKT RED, places our hero in the middle of an invasion by a monstrous army known as the Wild Hunt. He seems to be the key to stopping the horde as well as they seem to have something to do with his lost memories. The witchers have some pretty amazing powers and the new open world aspect gives the game a completely new dimension.

The Order: 1886

Set in an alternate version of London where the world has been fighting a war with monsters and have finally gotten the upper hand, the order are an order of knights that have been handed down the task of fighting the things that go bump in the night. Using an array of weapons and abilities, you take the role of one of the four members of the order to save London and ultimately the world.
