Comedians Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart both performed impromptu sets at Bob Sumner Presents Laff Mobb on Sunset at The World Famous Comedy Store. Hart made a surprise guest appearance before the last scheduled comic of the night. He delivered new comedic material regarding relationships and fear of animals.

As a last minute addition, actor Columbus Short went on stage to perform. He spoke on his divorce with his wife and his recent firing from ABC’s Scandal. Several audience members began to leave after Columbus’s set assuming the show had ended. Host of the night Red Grant informed audience members of one last performer.

Chappelle made his way to the stage. He went on to perform for over an hour and a half. Chappelle had the audience enthralled as he joked about current events. Katt Williams, who was also in attendance that night, was brought on stage by Chappelle. Williams simply said, “Ladies and gentleman Dave Chappelle” to close out Chappelle’s set.

Several other comedians were in attendance as well including Jeff Ross, Corey Holcomb, Jerrod Carmichael, Kel Mitchell, Chaunté Wayans, Owen Smith and LA Sparks Nnemkadi Ogwumike.
