Kelis Selling $2.2 Million House To Pay Tax Lien?

Ruh-oh! It looks like Kelis is selling her $2.2 million Chelsea apartment. The possible reason was that she was just slapped with an almost $350,000 tax lien earlier this month, according to the NY Post.

She bought the apartment back in 2005 fir $1.3 million, so clearly she’s made some upgrades to the two-bedroom, two-bathroom 1,600 square foot pad.

Kelis ruffled some feathers back inn 2011 when she took Nas for his cash after their divorce for child support. Nas was ordered to pay $350,000 in spousal support as well as $10,000 a month for their son, King. (Is it a coincidence that that’s the same amount as her tax lien?)
